Bullying

Bullying
Figures show that half of school children will experience bullying at some time with half of those not telling anyone. It can be seen as a sign of weakness but research shows that typically it's the person doing the bullying who needs help.

Children can be under pressure to do things they wouldn't otherwise do, putting them at risk.

The consequences of bullying can be very serious leading to low self esteem and support can provide a vital lifeline to protect and empower children.

The charity www.ditchthelabel.org offers a wide range of support for young people from 12 to 25, including their "community" a safe environment for people to share advice and support www.ditchthelabel.org/community
